A major new project I am involved in is the development of a Modern Physics Course for college students majoring in physics and engineering. This is a major extension to the Visual Quantum Mechanics (VQM) curricula previously developed at PERG.
I am also developing of a course for pre-medicine college students. This course will use modern medical techniques and diagnostics, such as MRI and laser surgery, as a platform for teaching and learning about quantum physics. This work will be described in a poster at the AAPT 2000 Winter Meeting.
