We now consider wave functions for situations where the total
energy is less than the potential energy. This is the so-called
"Classically Forbidden Region". We will learn that these
wave functions have a property that is significantly different
from ones we have discussed so far. This property can only be
explained using a quantum mechanical model of electrons.
